The farm hands lead the animals from their pens to the barnyard, where apples and feed corn from the recent harvest are piled next to the fence.
The farmer plays a spritely tune on his fiddle. The music causes some animals to run wildly around the barnyard. Others nibble on the apples and corn while keeping time to the farmer's melody.
The animals reflect on the day's events and express how happy they are that Goat is safely home. Goat thanks the animals again for rescuing her.
The farmer and his hands sit down to their harvest supper. Cats circle the table and gobble up any falling scraps.
